[Chandler, 2/9/2024] — Author Daniel Dickinson received a $1,000 grant from the Arizona Commission on the Arts. The grant supports the editing process of his upcoming novel, slated for release in 2024. “I am honored to receive this grant from the Arizona Commission on the Arts,” said Dickinson. “It represents validation of my work and a testament to the Commission’s dedication to promoting and sustaining the arts within our community.”
Grant application review panels are composed of diverse community leaders, volunteer experts, educators and arts practitioners from rural, urban, and suburban areas throughout Arizona. Individual artists, and arts organizations receive grants based on community investment, quality of programming, fiscal ingenuity, and responsible stewardship of public funds.
