In the ancient realms of Xonthian, the God of Death, known as Kia, bore witness to the ebb and flow of existence. His nature was enigmatic, for he harbored neither love nor favor for any being. Death, destruction, and hatred were his dominion, and his influence extended across the vast tapestry of the mortal realm.
Kia’s familial ties added complexity to his character. He stood as the uncle to the children of GateHar, weaving an intricate connection between the divine and mortal realms with his brother, The Creator. However, even familial bonds did not shield him from the consequences of his actions.
The pivotal moment in Kia’s existence occurred when he bestowed Death, Hatred and Destruction upon the world of Xonthian. This included the mysterious race of creatures, The Unknown. The Creator, the supreme being responsible for the cosmos, banished Kia from existence in response to his malevolent actions. The catalyst for his expulsion was Kia’s involvement in the deaths of innocent mortals, the ensuing chaos, and the creation of the malevolent Unknown, a breed of creatures steeped in darkness.
Amidst the cosmic upheaval, the Creator birthed AlphaOmega, a being meant to embody balance and harmony. Kia, however, tainted this creation with his malice and death, leaving an indelible mark on the essence of Alpha Omega.
In his exile, Kia found solace and reverence among the dark races of the world. Trolls, Orcs, and Ogres, drawn to the destructive power he embodied. All of them began to worship the God of Death. Among the Fire Isle Mages, particularly the Necromancers, his influence grew, as they sought to harness the forces of death for their dark arts.
Kia’s appearance was as varied as the realms he traversed. His eyes, in particular, bore the hues of his ominous nature—Red, Crimson, and Black, mirroring the depths of the malevolence within. His hair, a manifestation of his connection to death, could vary between stark white and ash, embodying the finality of life. The pallor of his skin ranged from the pale to the grey, a reflection of the shadows he cast upon the world.
The God of Death existed as a harbinger of destruction, a force that respected no boundaries. His worshipers sought power in the embrace of darkness, and his legacy endured through the ages, leaving an indelible mark on the tapestry of Xonthians history. As the god who both hated and respected none, Kia’s story continued to unfold, intertwined with the fates of mortals and gods alike.
