The Xonthian and Cettera Military stand as formidable forces, each with distinct roles and responsibilities. They are characterized by the prominence of knights, cavalry, archers, and footsoldiers.

The Xonthian military was renowned for its martial prowess and adherence to a strict code of justice. The Knights of Cettera, on the other hand, played a crucial role in logistical support, and are guided by honor. Together, they formed a cohesive and effective military structure.

The backbone of these forces lay in the strength and discipline of their knights. These elite warriors are heavily armored, skilled in various forms of combat, and mounted on powerful steeds. The cavalry, consisting of these knights, served as the vanguard of the Xonthian and Cettera forces, charging into battle with an unwavering determination.

Archers, with their proficiency in long-range attacks, added a strategic element to the military formations. Positioned strategically, they could rain arrows upon the enemy, weakening their defenses before the knights engaged in close combat. The synergy between knights and archers was crucial for achieving success on the battlefield.

The Swords of Justice, a specialized unit within the military, were responsible for executing combat missions. Comprising the bravest and most skilled warriors, they undertook perilous missions to uphold the principles of justice and maintain order in the realm. Their tasks ranged from subduing banditry to eliminating threats to the kingdom.

The Knights of Cettera, They ensured that the troops were well-fed, adequately armed, and had proper medical support. This division of labor allowed for a more efficient and organized military structure. They are also the worlds foremost cavalry experts

To manage the vast and complex military apparatus, the Xonthian and Cettera Military employed a hierarchical system. The organization was structured into Commands, Formations, and Units. The primary organizational units were the brigade, division, and corps. Brigades were composed of several regiments, divisions consisted of multiple brigades, and corps were the largest units, overseeing multiple divisions.

This hierarchical structure facilitated effective command and control, enabling the military to respond swiftly to threats and coordinate large-scale campaigns. Each level of command had its specific responsibilities, ensuring a well-coordinated effort on both the battlefield and in logistical support.

In essence, the Xonthian and Cettera Military during the One Hundred Year War represented a harmonious blend of martial prowess, strategic acumen, and organizational efficiency. The Knights of Cettera and the Swords of Justice worked in tandem, ensuring the realm’s safety and upholding the principles of justice in a challenging and tumultuous era.

Although hunters is not really a term they use, they are more specialized in their approach and tend to invest time and training in countering magic with the telltale signs that magic is being cast. Although rare, a mage or two has at one point climbed the ranges of the Swords of Justice to become a specialized agent. Those who wish to join the Swords of Justice must have either have a special invitation or be at the top of their military career in the Xonthian Army.
Tasked with fighting the mages during the Hundred Year War, the Swords of Justice’s numbers dwindled during the time, barely able to keep a couple thousand in rotation of training and front line deployment.
