The Stout Pony, much like any tavern in Xonthian has had its share of drama. The Stout Pony is known for being rebuilt more than any other building in Xonthian. While the wood often gets replaced every five year or so, depending on the frequency of the drama, it is never without its personable owners. Those that willing take on running the tavern are rewarded with a steady stream of income.
The Stout Pony was originally built as a place of refuge for those traveling between Xonthians cities. Its a mid-way point between Xonthian City and Port Orlynns and west to the Cross Roads, which is the halfway point between North and South Kelsa.
It was used as a triage during the Hundred Year War, and then rebuilt after the war when it’s new owner took over.
