Yensi

Once a major trading hub between the Elves and the rest of humankind, Yensi fell into disrepair after the One Hundred Year War. Since then, it has regained its status as a major hub and has even become a tourist stop for those seeking to spot the grand Phoenix’s rebirth. The town itself sits on Phoenix Lake, a bird-shaped body of water that despite its shape, was named for the mythical creature that comes here to die and reincarnate itself. Travelers from all over the world come to bathe in the magical waters, some claiming that it heals ailments, though that has never been proven. Yensi is a colorful city, with vibrant shades of reds, oranges, and yellows in homage to the feathered creature.   The lake itself is crystal clear blue and at its heart and is the deepest lake in the world. Commercial fishermen are prohibited from the lake, however, enterprising solo fishermen, who wish to try their luck with line and real, make a living selling their catch to local restaurants.

Tourism

Small Bogota’s can be rented along the beige and grey sands of the lake, while the town itself has some of the greatest restaurants in the world. A few lake houses sit on the edge of the water, built before the town began to regulate construction. These homes became hotels and bed and breakfasts, catering the travelers looking to spot the Phoenix smoldering deep in the lake.
