Home to the affluent dead, the Xonthian Cemetery is full of dead heroes, kings, queens, princesses, princes, and other upper-class historical figures. Mausoleums dedicated to the first kings of Xonthian, including the man the world was named after, have their final resting place hidden away under monuments dedicated to them. Marble statues of angels, the Goddess of Gate’har, and other celestial beings decorate the hilly holy grounds. Various trees cast shade along the paths that weave in and out of the cemetery. The entire area is fenced off, with a single iron gate on the western side.
