Along the northeastern edge of the Half-Moon bay, is a coarse sand beach, formed thousands of years ago. Even though the weather is not often conducive to sitting on a beach and getting a tan, the recreational area is usually always full of people looking to escape the busy streets. Children of all types usually spend the day at the beach, well into the evening when bonfires can be seen springing up along it.

Xonthian is a diverse and historically rich world, characterized by a variety of landscapes and civilizations. The central hub, Xonthian City, is a bustling metropolis where humans thrive amidst fertile outskirts adorned with abundant crops and farms. To the southwest lies the secluded island of Juan’kij, home to reclusive elves who reside within the lush forests of Timilik.
Towards the north, the Dwarves peacefully inhabit the Shadow Mountains, crafting their lives in harmony with the rugged terrain. On the easternmost peninsula of Xecutran, the elusive Atticatten have found refuge, maintaining a hidden existence. The world is not without its shadows, as Orcs, Ogres, and other darker races inhabit long-forgotten jungles, mysterious swamps, and the remnants of lost civilizations, concealing their presence from the more populated regions.
Half-Moon Bay
The largest known natural bay in existence became the site of one of the largest navy fleets. Half-Moon Bay is a half-circle carved into the arms of Xonthian, with its grey, cold waters lapping gently against its rocky beaches. Protected from storms and waves as they pass regularly outside the protection of the bay, vessels from all over the world use it as a staging area. Fleets from Merchants Guild, Clerics of Gatehar, and of course the Xonthian Royal Navy, call Half-Moon Bay home.

The Stout Pony
The Stout Pony, much like any tavern in Xonthian has had its share of drama. The Stout Pony is known for being rebuilt more than any other building in Xonthian. While the wood often gets replaced every five year or so, depending on the frequency of the drama, it is never without its personable owners. Those that willing take on running the tavern are rewarded with a steady stream of income.
The Stout Pony was originally built as a place of refuge for those traveling between Xonthians cities. Its a mid-way point between Xonthian City and Port Orlynns and west to the Cross Roads, which is the halfway point between North and South Kelsa.
It was used as a triage during the Hundred Year War, and then rebuilt after the war when it’s new owner took over.
Last Stand Hill
Last Stand Hill is the sight of one of the worst, and most gruesome battles the Fort has seen. During first days of the One Hundred Year War, this was the place where all of Xonthian held its breath, in hopes the military might of the two Kingdoms, could push the Dark Army back west, past the Wall of Ages and the Xonthian Mountains. Hundreds of warriors for the Kingdom died, holding their ground upon the hill. It wasn’t until the Swords of Justice pushed from the south, several days later, that the kingdom was able to push the Dark Army back.
Fort Pointe Castle
The castle proper is made of thick limestone walls. Several towers watch over the rolling hills to the west. The castle buildings house the Sword of Justices, and military tacticians.
Fort Pointe Castle is also home to several Gatehar Clerics. Its windows are slits, used by archers to fire from in relative safety.

Dark Manor
The Dark Manor was constructed in the aftermath of the cataclysmic event known as the World Shattering, the manor stands as a fortified bastion, resembling more of a modest keep than a grand mansion. Its purpose was to safeguard against potential invasions by mystical creatures emerging from beneath Xonthian Mountain. Tragically, the original construction claimed the lives of several individuals, and it is rumored that the spirits of those who perished still linger within the grounds.
King Si’ann Alivis the 2nd undertook the restoration of the manor, driven by the desire to provide a sanctuary for Tiger and his companions, shielding them from prying eyes. In the process of refurbishment, the remains of those who met their end during the initial construction were discovered and were given a respectful burial in the heart of Xonthian City.
Following the resolution of the One Hundred Year War, the manor was revived to its former glory. Tiger and his companions chose to make it their home, where they spent the majority of their lives in tranquility. However, with their eventual passing, the castle succumbed to neglect and gradually fell into disrepair, reverting to its abandoned state once more.
Xonthian Cemetery
Home to the affluent dead, the Xonthian Cemetery is full of dead heroes, kings, queens, princesses, princes, and other upper-class historical figures. Mausoleums dedicated to the first kings of Xonthian, including the man the world was named after, have their final resting place hidden away under monuments dedicated to them. Marble statues of angels, the Goddess of Gate’har, and other celestial beings decorate the hilly holy grounds. Various trees cast shade along the paths that weave in and out of the cemetery. The entire area is fenced off, with a single iron gate on the western side.
