The town is a collection of homesteads, farms, and orchards that spread out from a mill at the center. Country living and tradition are steeped in the land around North Kelsa. Daily living is reduced to farm life, waking up before the sun, feeding the livestock, and tending to the land. Prior to the Hundred Year War and even after, the area is one of Xonthian’s largest contributors to food. During the war, the Fire Isle Mages kept the town relatively untouched, and opted to buy the food, or steal it, directly from the farmers. A symbiotic relationship had been reached where the town had been mostly left alone, as long as they provided the Dark Army previsions for their growing presence on Western Xonthian.
